This week, we’re shining a light on alcohol harm and the impact it can have on our health, families, and communities.
👉 Did you know?
🔹 Around 10 million people in the UK regularly drink alcohol at levels that could damage their health.
🔹 Alcohol is linked to over 60 medical conditions, including high blood pressure, depression, liver disease, and cancer.
🔹 Every year in England, there are around 350,000 hospital admissions where alcohol is a factor.
🔹 Alcohol misuse is the biggest risk factor for death, ill-health and disability among 15-49 year-olds in the UK.
This week is a chance to reflect on our drinking habits and consider small changes that can make a big difference.
